The trip incorporates a trip cancellation and accident assistance insurance with medical insurance so that you gain peace of mind when booking your child's trip.

The cancellation insurance guarantees full refund in unforeseeable cases that may occur before the start of the programme (it does not cover any reason for cancellation once the programme had started).

Travel medical insurance covers some medical problems, accidents or other unexpected incidents that may occur during the programme or during the trip to and from the destination.

You can able to read all the information on the guarantees covered and the basic coverage of both insurances in the conditions (general and specific).

Before booking a place, a registration form must be completed to collect important data, including medical and health details.

10 JGP will try to respect the week requested. However, the need to fill the weeks will be taken into account and given priority.

The weeks will be filled in accordance with the order of registration (respecting the foregoing) and weeks will be understood as complete when they are at 50% occupancy; if this number is not reached, 10 JGP may change the order of registrations until they can be completed, always seeking the appropriate authorisation.

However, in the event of a request for a specific week, 10 JGP may propose another week(s) best suited to the characteristics (gender and age) of that application and of those registered in that week(s).

In any case we propose a minimum handicap of 25, given that the planned programme requires a certain level of golf to fulfil its objective.

That said, each case will be judged on a personal basis, as we do not want this requirement to be an impediment to possible registration.

10 JGP has its own rules of procedure which establish general rules of mandatory compliance. Any infringement thereof will give the right to take the necessary measures to ensure that the general interest prevails.

Those enrolled in the programme will act at all times in an educated way, showing respect for people - companions and monitors - and making appropriate use of the facilities and means made available to them.

The weather in Scotland is one of the great mysteries. Its variability makes it a factor to be taken into account when travelling, as it is possible to experience all four seasons of the year in a single day.

The best time to visit St Andrews is from the beginning of July to the end of August. During these months the average temperature is over 19°C, although it is important to consider the unpredictability of its climate.

We therefore recommend that you go prepared for any type of weather, especially rain (although the St Andrews golf shops are perfectly prepared to cater for any unforeseen event).

The months with the greatest number of daylight hours -around 18- are the summer months. Even in the days around the summer solstice there is no complete darkness: the brightness of the sky never completely darkens, with sunrise at around 4:20am and sunset around 10:10pm

An important fact to bear in mind is the thermal sensation, which makes the temperatures appear lower on days with wind and high humidity than it actually is.
